The tax-inclusive price of diesel and petrol in Slovakia was higher in Slovakia than any of its neighbours in the Visegrad 4 group (Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland), or Austria, during the past week.
According to the natankuj.sk internet portal, the average price of 95-octane petrol in Slovakia was €1.008 per litre as of February 23; diesel was sold at an average of €1.077 per litre, the SITA newswire reported. Austria had the second most expensive petrol and diesel. SITA
