German President Christian Wulff arrived in Slovakia on Monday evening, September 26, for a two-day visit, with a meeting with Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič as the first item on his agenda, the TASR newswire reported.
Wulff's schedule for September 27 begins with a talk with Foreign Affairs Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda, followed by meetings with Richard Sulík, chairman of Slovakia’s parliament and Prime Minister Iveta Radičová.
In the afternoon, Wulff and Gašparovič will visit the Spiš region in eastern Slovakia where Wulff will speak with representatives of the Carpathian German minority.
