German President Christian Wulff will pay a two-day official visit to Slovakia beginning on Monday, September 26, according to Elena Bianchi of the press department of the Slovak President’s Office.
The German president is scheduled to meet Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič, Prime Minister Iveta Radičová and Speaker of Parliament Richard Sulík, the TASR newswire reported. Both presidents will then visit Kežmarok, in Prešov Region, to accept honorary citizenship and go sightseeing.
Wulff will also meet with representatives of the Carpathian German community living in the region.
