US-based Internet giant Google turned out to be the most attractive employer in Slovakia among respondents included in a recent survey by employment agency Profesia and Forbes magazine, TASR learned from Profesia’s Marcela Glevická on February 3.
Google was chosen based on the respondents’ perception of it as a strong brand that gives its personnel a range of possibilities to realise their potential while offering interesting work. J&T financial group came second and carmaker Volkswagen Slovakia third. J&T is particularly compelling for people 55 or older. Volkswagen, for its part, owes its attractiveness to good salaries and perks.
The chief factors in the rankings turned out to be - a strong and well-known brand, interesting work in the job, a sound reputation and job security. Meanwhile, salaries only came into consideration as the fifth most important variable. Google finished tops for both men and women.
