Members of parliament who are involved in car accidents should lose their right to refuse alcohol test (or tests for any other addictive or illegal material) without punishment according to a proposal by coalition MPs Rudolf Pučík (SNS), Ján Richter (Smer) and Ján Kovarčík (HZDS).
The Cabinet will consider the proposal at its session on January 28.
According to the amendment, an MP refusing to undergo examination could automatically be considered guilty of a minor offence and could face the same fine or punishment as other citizens. TASR
