ACCORDING to the Tourism Development Strategy recently approved by the government, around 27 million people will visit Slovakia in 2013. This will be 2 million more than this year. At the same time, each visitor is expected to spend 1.5 times more money than they do at present, the daily SME reported.
"Nothing like this has been created in Slovakia before. The strategy's aims appear to be realistic for a period of eight years," Economy Ministry tourism department head Gabriel Kuliffay, told the daily.
Entrepreneurs are also positive about the strategy.
