SLOVAK company Grafobal Group, owed by businessman Ivan Kmotrík, became the 100-percent owner of the commercial TV station Joj TV, the Pravda daily reported.
The Slovak broadcasting and retransmission authority Rada pre vysielanie a retransmisiu, approved the transfer of the remaining 10-percent Joj stake on December 20.
Grafobal gained control over Joj TV in January this year, having purchased a 40-percent stake from Joj’s broadcaster MAC TV of Česká Produkční Invest. Prior to that, Grafobal owned a 50- percent stake in Joj TV.
Among other assets, Kmotrík also owns the Slovak football club, Artmedia Petržalka.
