KOREAN investor Hankook Tire will decide where it places its new tire production plant next week. "Maybe on Monday or Tuesday we will already know the results," said Economy Minister Pavol Rusko.
Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland are competing for the Hankook investment, worth some €500 million (Sk19.9 billion). The plans to create 1,600 jobs, the Národná Obroda daily wrote.
If Hankook decided for Slovakia, the plant would be built in Levice.
