The new law will be crafted with respect to a ruling this September by the Constitutional Court, which declared that an act on property origin passed in 2005 was unconstitutional.

The model for the new act will be the Italian version of the law, which has passed a test at the European Court of Human Rights. Harabin should cooperate with the finance and interior ministries, as well as with the Tax Office and the Prosecutor-General's Office.

Fico has called on opposition politicians who are interested in passing an effective law to step in and provide constructive cooperation. TASR
