Harmonised inflation remained at 1 percent in November, the SITA newswire wrote. Inflation in Slovakia has changed little since July.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices grew by 0.3 percent, compared to no change from September to October, the Slovak Statistics Office reported. In a year-on-year comparison, the authority reported the steepest growth in the price of food and soft drinks (+5 percent). By contrast the price of furniture, household furnishings and common house maintenance fell by 2.7 percent. In monthly terms, the price of food and soft drinks grew by 1.3 percent. The price of clothing and footwear ticked up 0.3 percent.
