Health minister might be sacrificed

OPPOSITION Parliamentary parties admit that they have no power to recall any of the four ministers they have marked for a no-confidence vote in parliament, but the ruling coalition is allegedly considering recalling them itself, SME daily writes.

"We had information that the PM might let go Health Minister Rudolf Zajac," a high-level coalition-source told the daily.

The source noted, however, that Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda still wants to back all of his ministers.

The additional ministers whom the opposition wants out of the cabinet are Culture Minister František Tóth, Transport Minister Pavol Prokopovič, and Education Minister Martin Fronc.
