Heating costs to increase by at least 10 percent

THE OFFICE for the Regulation of Network Branches says household heating costs will go up by at least 10 percent from October this year, the daily SME reported.

The regulatory authority has received thirty requests from heating companies to increase prices.

The director of the heating regulatory department, Mária Marková believes that new requests will arrive each day.

These requests arrived to the regulatory office after the Slovak dominant crude oil refiner Slovnaft announced that it will increase household gas prices by 22 percent in October this year.
