AUSTRIAN company Roco Modellspielwaren, a maker of model railway systems, may expand its business in Slovakia, according to the daily Hospodárske noviny.
On July 22, Roco shut down its production facilities in Hallein, Austria. Although the company would not provide details on its future plans, the Austrian daily, Die Presse, indicated that its sights were set on Slovakia.
Roco Slovakia, based in Banská Bystrica, currently employs 200 people.
