A second crime connected with the Ice Hockey World Championship forthcoming in Bratislava and Košice on April 29 was reported, as someone in Bratislava stole a car belonging to an official tournament partner, the Čas.sk website reported on April 27.
The car, a Volkswagen Multivan, was used by a Swiss partner of the championship called Ochsner Hockey, which produces and sells hockey souvenirs. The information was confirmed by spokesman of the Swiss national team Lukas Hammer.
The Swiss team is accommodated in Košice but the car was stolen in Bratislava at some point overnight Monday/Tuesday. The car belongs to a Swiss leasing company which loaned it to the souvenir firm.
