According to the daily, the hotel management has already pinpointed suspects who may have been involved in the theft of watches, a laptop computer and iPod worth a total of several thousand euros. Demitra is staying with teammates on the seventh floor of the new hotel adjacent to Orange Arena, which will be the main venue for the championship that begins on Friday.

The hotel management indicated that the thief must have entered Demitra's room with the help of a chip card, as the door wasn't damaged. Although built by Široký, the four-star hotel was opened last week as part of the Hilton group and will be called 'Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton'.
