INDIAN firm Steel Strips Wheels plans to sign a contract for a new production plant in Levice by the end of November at the latest, the daily Hospodárske noviny wrote.
The company wants to purchase eight hectares of land for the factory, which will produce disks for car wheels. The company pans to create 150 to 200 jobs.
Steel Strips Wheels had also been considering Senica as the location for its investment but finally opted for Levice. Ľubomír Parízek, mayor of Senica, confirmed that Indian investments are not a priority for them any more.
