The growth rate of industrial prices in Slovakia accelerated in the second month of 2011, the SITA newswire reported. After the January year-on-year increase of 4.5 percent, industrial prices in February grew at an annual rate of 5.7 percent.
Industrial producer prices for the domestic market went up 3.4 percent in the second month, which was a significant jump from the 1.8 percent increase in the previous month. Industrial prices began increasing in January 2011 after twenty months of declining, SITA wrote.
