Industrial producer prices increase by 3.8 percent in October

The indicator had risen by 4.6 percent on average in the January-October period.

Industrial producer prices for the domestic market increased 3 percent year-on-year with prices of mining and extraction of raw mineral materials increasing 6.3 percent, prices of water distribution, purification, drainage of sewage and related services rising 4.5 percent, prices of industrial manufacturing up by 3.8 percent and supplies of electricity, gas, steam and cool air rising by 1.8 percent, SITA wrote.

Prices for exported products grew faster, increasing by 4.4 percent year-on-year in October. Prices of mining and extraction were 13.3 percent higher. The Statistics Office further reported increases in prices of industrial manufacturing (+4.4 percent) and distribution of electricity, gas, steam and cool air (+0.9 percent).
