CONSUMER prices in Slovakia increased by 0.4 percent month-on-month in May 2006, which is a 4.8 percent annual increase, Slovakia's Statistics Office (ŠÚ) reported on June 12.
According to the ŠÚ, food and non-alcoholic beverage prices showed the highest month-on-month rise (1.4 percent), followed by transport (1.2 percent), TASR wrote.
