Inflation stays near record lows

Inflation in September rose 30 basis points from the month before to hit 2.8 per cent, the highest rate since May but still one of the lowest in Slovak history.

The inflation rate has been heavily influenced by the outgoing Dzurinda government’s decision to delay scheduled rises to regulated utility prices.
