Sme recently published video shot on June 20 as protests were held against refugee quotas in the capital. It raised the question whether the brutality of extremists did not provoke the police.
A man subsequently approached the daily claiming that he is not an extremist and he did not come to Slovak capital to participate on protests. Sme stated that it was not able to approve his claims.

The behaviour of the police on the video is not standard, according to Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák .
Police spokesman Michal Slivka said no violation of generally binding directives and internal directives of the Interior Ministry has been identified.
