Interblue Group Europe, which claims to be the successor to the US-based Interblue Group, the company that bought Slovakia's surplus CO2 emission quotas from the Environment Ministry in 2007, still considers the contract to be valid, said the company’s project manager František Jakoubek at a press conference on March 9.
Jakoubek said that he believes that further discussions between the company and the ministry will eliminate all discrepancies. He provided neither documents proving the legal succession of the company nor the opportunity for media to ask questions. Jakoubek added that the first meeting was due to take place on March 9.
Ministry spokesperson Jana Kaplanová confirmed to the TASR newswire that a first meeting with the company has been arranged, but the ministry refused to disclose further information concerning the matter. TASR
