International conference Policy Making and Politics at the Local Level

Economics Faculty of Technical University Košice (TUKE) is hosting a prestigious international educational event: „The 2nd POL-LOC Summer School: Policy Making and Politics at the Local Level: East/West experience in comparative perspective“. It is taking place in the first half of July with the participation of students and young university pedagogues from 15 European Countries.

The programme contains a series of key lectures, seminars, workshops, discussion forums and social activities. Key lectures will be held by renowned foreign and domestic scholars: James Svara (USA), Helmut Wollmann (Germany), Ellen Wayenberg (Belgium), Ulrik Kjaer (Denmark), Attila Ágh (Hungary), Agnieszka Pawlowska (Poland), Georg Sootla (Estonia), Colin Copus (Great Britain), William Gilles (France), Arto Haveri (Finland), Darina Malová (Slovakia), Maroš Finka (Slovakia), René Matlovič (Slovakia) and Ján Buček (Slovakia). Partner academic facilities represent the following European countries: Belgium, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary, Moldova, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

The event is primarily financed thanks to the grant scheme Erasmus IP.
