A solar power plant may be built near Lučenec in southern Slovakia, with investment costs of €68 million, by the Bovinex Europa company owned by a private Italian resident, the SITA newswire reported.
According to investment plans submitted for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), the solar plant could generate over 990,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually. The plant would cover on an area of nearly 220,000 square meters. The solar power plant would contain over 16,000 photovoltaic cells. Bovinex, based in Michalovce, was enrolled in Slovakia’s Business Register in 2005, SITA wrote.
