AN INTERNATIONAL summer seminar about medieval architecture and archaeology will take place from July 21 to August 17 in Faedis, Italy. The seminar is organised by the Institute for the Reconstruction of Chucco - Zucco Castle (Istituto per la Riconstruzzione del castello di Chucco-Zucco).
The aim of the event is create an international exchange of knowledge and experience between young experts who will be restoring sites together. Slovak applicants have to pay a registration fee of €100 and cover their own travel expenses. The institute provides accommodation, food, excursions and insurance free of charge. Young experts and students in their fourth or higher year of studies in the field of architecture, art history, or archaeology are eligible. A good knowledge of English, drawing and sketching, as well as interest in working on the site, is required.
