THE IVESTIGATION inspired by articles published in the British magazine Jane's Intelligence Digest has been halted, the SME daily wrote.

The investigator decided that the stories published in the magazine last year that, among other things, said that the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) was involved in illegal arms trade and cooperated with Russian secret services, were not an attack against the SIS.

The investigation started last year after Vladimír Mitro, the former head of the SIS, filed a motion that was later backed by the new SIS chief, Ladislav Pittner.
