Czech entrepreneur Daniel Křetinský and the financial group J&T on the other hand strengthened their position in the company. On the contrary, the position of the PPF Group, which is controlled by the Czech businessman Petr Kellner has weakened, the SITA newswire reported.

The PPF Group sold its 4.4 percent stake in EPH to the other two shareholders. Thus, Daniel Křetinský now controls 20 percent in the company, while before the change it was 18.5 percent.

J&T Group currently owns 40 percent in EPH, while previously it held 37 percent. PPF Group now has 40 percent in EPH. Late last year, reports appeared in the media that PPF wants to leave EPH entirely. It wanted to sell its 44.4 percent to the two other shareholders in EPH for €1.1 billion.
