JUSTICE Minister Daniel Lipšic will ask the government to declassify information on the state stimuli provided to foreign investors coming to Slovakia.
According to Lipšic, keeping the information on state assistance confidential contradicts the right of citizens to the free access of information, the daily SME wrote.
Originally, the Economy Ministry had requested that the information on investment stimuli to foreign companies be classified.
"I think that publishing the information on the stimuli is not a matter of the cabinet deciding on the issue, but rather respecting the law," Lipšic said. He argued that the ministers might violate the law by keeping the information confidential.
