The Christian Democrats party has said it supports the sale of three energy distributors to foreign bidders in a recent tender after receiving assurances the new owners would not sell Slovak-generated electricity outside the country. The cabinet is to discuss the selection of the winning bids tomorrow; a scheduled debate a week ago was cancelled after the Christian Democrats announced misgivings.
