According to the resolution, ministers would be obliged to stick to the terms of the agreement when communicating with EU institutions.

KDH Justice Minister Daniel Lipšic argued that such proceedings could present constitutional problems.

"Can the government bind a minister on how he carries out his legal competencies?" said Lipšic.

The problem is to be dealt with by the coalition board, a senior body composed of representatives from the ruling parties, according to SME.
