President Andrej Kiska appointed several new ambassadors on September 9, the president’s official website reported.

President Andrej Kiska appointed several new ambassadors on September 9, the president’s official website reported.

Ľubomír Macko was appointed as ambassador to Iraq, replacing Miloslav Naď. Dušan Horniak will be sent to head the recently established embassy in the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi, the TASR newswire quoted the website.

A change is also set to take place at the embassy for Belgium and Luxembourg based in Brussels, with outgoing ambassador Jan Kuderjavy being replaced by Stanislav Vallo. Meanwhile, Andrej Droba is leaving as directo of the Foreign and European Affairs Minister’s office for the embassy in Canada, replacing Milan Kollár.
