Sergej Kozlík, a former deputy PM and Finance Minister in the 1994-1998 Vladimír Mečiar government, has been ordered by a court to repay about $2,500 in unlawful bonuses he received as a cabinet member in 1998.
Kozlík is the second member of the Mečiar government to have to repay some of the money cabinet members awarded themselves during those years, although the courts have ruled that most of the bonuses do not have to be returned because under the statute of limitations the crimes can no longer be tried.
