The state-owned Kremnica Mint (Banská Bystrica region) will begin producing and supplying 500 million euro coins of all nominal values as of August 19, Jaroslav Setnický, the mint’s sales and marketing head, told the TASR newswire on August 12.
Setnický stated that everything was going according to plan in terms of technical readiness.
"We'll complete this by December 15, 2008," he said.
The Kremnica Mint was set up in 1328 and has been supplying minted products ever since. It products are viewed as being among the best in the world. It currently employs around 230 people. TASR
