Kukan wants meeting with Hungary

Foreign minister Eduard Kukan sent a letter to his Hungarian counterpart requesting a meeting of the joint Slovak-Hungarian minorities commission, in a sign that Bratislava is prepared to negotiate on a controversial status law passed by Budapest in 2001.
