THE LANDOWNERS of some plots under the future Kia car plant near Žilina are demanding that Economy Minister Pavol Rusko be replaced with a new negotiator who will be able to agree with them on the sale of their land, the Pravda daily wrote.
The landowners think that they will not be able to reach agreement with Rusko because of what they call his arrogant attitude towards them.
It is not known whether the cabinet will provide a new mediator.
Owners of around 30 hectares of the total 220 hectares for the future Kia plant have refused to sell their land for the state’s offered price.
