Legendary American broadcaster Larry King is expected to arrive in Bratislava on Thursday, September 22 and his visit will be coupled with the presence of another legend – popular Czech talk show host Jan Kraus – who will be shooting a special show at TA3 to mark the news network's 10th anniversary, the TASR newswire reported.
King became famous primarily because of his work with CNN where he hosted a talk show for 25 years. During his 53-year career in television he conducted approximately 50,000 interviews.
The joint appearance of King and his Czech counterpart Kraus is part of a series of discussions organised by TA3 concerning media and journalism, TASR wrote. Guests expected to attend the event include Culture Minister Daniel Krajcer and former TV Markíza CEO Václav Mika.
