Financier Jozef Majský has still not returned from an African holiday as promised to report for police questioning on charges he diverted Sk426 million ($9.5 million) in 1998 to the Istrokommerz firm from his Sipox Holding, rather than pay a debt Sipox owed to the state-run FNM privatisation agency.

Majský is also expected to face questions over the role he played in the 2002 failure of unlicensed deposit fund Horizont, in which almost 200,000 people lost their savings.
