Following a state prosecutor’s decision to remand financier Jozef Majský in custody on charges of founding an organised crime group and fraud, the judge on the case has three days to decide whether to approve the motion.
The daily Sme has reported that a car attempting to take Majský across the border to Austria on Monday, the day he was arrested, was driven by his wife, MP Diana Dubovská. Majský had planned to fly to Israel, but was hunted down police after skipping a morning scheduled interrogation.
