Majský’s house searched

Police on Wednesday searched the houses of financier Jozef Majský and accomplice Peter Pachinger, who allegedly now owns the bankrupt Horizont non-licensed deposit fund, in an ongoing fraud investigation.

Majský is already being investigated for allegedly defrauding the FNM privatisation agency of almost Sk500 million ($11 million), and is now being questioned over his role in the crashed Horizont fund, where 160,000 people lost over Sk11 billion in savings this past spring.
