Approximately 500 new jobs will soon come to Stará Turňáa in Nové Mesto nad Váhom district as the Elster company, a producer of gas meters and water gauges, plans to build a new assembly hall on its premises, the SITA newswire reported.
Elster said in its investment plan, which has already been submitted for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), that it wants to expand production in the near future, SITA wrote.
The construction of the hall will cost approximately €5 million, with construction expected to start by the end of this summer and be completed at the start of next year. The new production hall will have an area of 7,000 to 11,000 square meters, depending on the variant chosen.
