The private Markíza TV station has received another fine from a state media watchdog, this time for Sk500,000 ($11,500), for a TV spot promoting the Ano party of Markíza co-owner Pavol Rusko.

The fine was levied for a Markíza news piece describing the refusal of Ano to pay for a political ad on the public STV channel, and was judged itself to have been a form of political advertising.
