Markíza off the hook for Müller interview

TV Markíza will not have to pay the two million Slovak crown ($40,000) fine issued it last year by the Broadcast Licencing Council. Markíza had been fined for running an interview in prime time with Slovak pop star Richard Müller in which he spoke of his personal drug use. Markíza will not have to pay the fine because its appeal was not ruled on within the 12 month window the council has by law.
