The Slovak Armed Forces celebrated Armed Forces Day on Tuesday, September 22, by organising events in various Slovak towns and cities, including sports, concerts and competitions. Soldiers on this occasion traditionally organise displays of dog-training, weaponry and equipment, along with a parade by an honour guard.
Visitors interested in studying at army schools or in military service can obtain information from recruiting centres.
