MEP profile: Anna Záborská

Anna Záborská was born in 1948 in Zurich, Switzerland. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Martin. She has been active in politics since 1998 when she entered the Slovak parliament as a KDH deputy and since 2004 she has been an MEP. In the EP, she has been the chairwoman of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality and a member of the Conference of Committee Chairmen, Committee on Development and the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.
