DEPUTY Prime Minisiter for Economy Ivan Mikloš escaped without injury from a multiple-car accident in which the his government BMW was rear-ended by a truck.
The September 17 accident involving Mikloš, who is also vice-chair of PM Mikuláš Dzurinda's Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKÚ) party, took place near the eastern Slovak town of Svit.
Mikloš said the truck driver appeared not to have noticed a line of stopped cars, propelling the BMW into several vehicles in front of it.
