Minister holds talks with representatives of Yukos Finance B.V.

Slovak Economy Minister Ľubomír Jahnátek met with representatives of the Dutch subsidiary of the bankrupt Russian oil giant Yukos Finance B.V. on March 23.

It is probable that Yukos still owns a minority stake in the Slovak crude oil pipeline operator.

Both parties agreed that they would not be specific about the outcome of the talks at this phase.

"The talks were very constructive. However, I do not dare to say when we will reach a final solution. In the past I have always been wrong when trying to give a deadline," Jahnátek said.

"It was a business meeting and no details will be published, since the transactions have not been concluded yet," said Martin Parr, the executive director of the British section of Yukos Finace B.V..
