THE COUNTRY has no plans to reassess the mission of its troops in Iraq, Defence Minister Juraj Liška told new US Ambassador to Slovakia, Rodolphe M Vallee, on September 9 at an official meeting.

A total of 105 Slovak soldiers are currently deployed under US command in Iraq as part of operation Enduring Freedom. Slovakia recently accepted an American offer to send three officers to operation command headquarters in Baghdad, the TASR news agency reported.
