"I apologise in the name of the Slovak Post for this error," Vážny was quoted by TASR to have said during the question hour in Parliament.

The ethnic-Hungarian SMK party complained last week that Slovak Post sent out a circular letter requiring the use of the Slovak language in official communications without waiting for detailed instructions from the Culture Ministry.

Following the complaints by SMK, Slovak Post asked the Culture Ministry to send instructions. "The Post Office has already received the instructions," said Vazny, adding that the Post Office has sent out another circular letter in which it corrected errors contained in the first two. TASR
