The local firm Profinet is the only company so far to have declared interest in a state tender for a combined GSM and UMTS license, priced at Sk1.5 billion ($32 million). The Canadian TIW and Norwegian Telenor have already said they will not bid because of what they describe as disadvantageous conditions set by the Telecom Office for the license.
