A PRE-ELECTION moratorium on campaigning ahead of regional elections on Saturday, November 26, took effect this morning at 7:00.
During the 48-hour moratorium, which will last until the start of the elections, the law on elections to regional governments bans any form of election activity, the SITA news agency wrote.
The campaign is also banned during the elections, which will start at 7:00 and end at 20:00 on November 26.
All Slovak citizens and foreigners with permanent residence in Slovakia aged 18 years and above can vote for the heads of regional units and councillors.
